Customer Terms

1. Overview

These terms form a contract between you (“the customer”) and Harvest Lane Deliveries (“we,” “our”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms. We operate within England under applicable consumer and e-commerce laws.

2. Service Scope

Harvest Lane Deliveries provides weekly and occasional deliveries of fresh farm produce, bakery and dairy goods from English suppliers. The service operates within defined routes and available windows displayed on our site.

3. Orders and Changes

Orders can be placed via our online form or by email. Orders confirmed by us are binding once prepared for dispatch. You may modify or pause an order up to 12:00 noon the day before delivery. We reserve the right to decline an order if stock, weather or logistics prevent safe delivery.

4. Delivery

Deliveries are made to the address provided in your request. Drivers may leave boxes in a safe location if no one is present. Please ensure access is safe and dogs are secured. We are not liable for loss or spoilage after delivery has occurred as instructed.

5. Returns and Refunds

If produce arrives damaged or incomplete, notify us within 24 hours via [email protected]. We will replace or refund at our discretion. Perishable items cannot be returned once accepted, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

6. Payment

Payment is due upon order confirmation. Our payment processors handle transactions securely; we do not store card details. All prices include VAT where applicable. Late or failed payments may result in paused service until resolved.

7. Subscription Plans

Regular customers may opt for recurring deliveries. Plans renew weekly or fortnightly until cancelled. Cancellations require one full day’s notice before dispatch to avoid charge for that week’s crate.

8. Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate delivery details and keep communication channels open for updates. Harvest Lane Deliveries must pack and transport goods in safe, hygienic conditions, following English food safety guidelines.

9. Allergens and Ingredients

While we handle produce with care, cross-contact may occur at partner facilities. Customers with severe allergies should contact us before ordering to confirm specific supplier information.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as extreme weather, road closures or farm supply failure. In such cases, affected orders may be postponed or refunded.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including text, images and layout, belongs to Harvest Lane Deliveries. Reuse or reproduction requires written permission.

12. Data Protection

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Data & Privacy Outline. We never sell or lease customer data.

13. Communication

We communicate primarily via email. By placing an order, you consent to receive operational messages. You may unsubscribe from newsletters separately.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be handled by English courts.
